This is a good thing. First it fits perfectly and the surface is "toothy" and elastic for a fantastic grip and shock absorbent to boot(ie. no more dropping that slippery little $300 ipod with the fragile screen.) Second, this baby has two nice extras -- a molded-in solid and pretty standard belt clip "rivet" and an effective and removable protective "coverslip" screen protector.The latter is not perfect but still quite worthwhile. Problem is the coverslip tends to slid down and away from the screen. I wedged mine in place with a nice little piece of fat rubber band. But, hey, that is just how I roll. Mwaaaaahahaha. I got this jewel for $5 with free shipping. Such a deal!! I hope you find something good like this in your life, too. hahaha

Product works well to protect the IPod but the glass window will not stay in place. It keeps slipping down over the "mouse" pad. May even put a drop of super glue in one corner to hold it in place.

I bought this as a present for my husband he is in iraq and i thought it would keep his i pod safe but the screen protector is a seprate peice and doenst fit tightly enough to stay in and he has a 120 gb ipod and the ipod itself rattles around in the case and there is no wheel protector so i understand why people say there screen gets scratched.

This is a great ipod protector - my only concern is that it's a bit roomy for the 120 GB (even with the extra insert that's marked for the 80GB model), so I don't see how the screen protector will stay in place very long (it's a seperate piece of plastic).
Also it comes loose off the belt clip easily, i.e. when you sit down.
